Quiz in the Dubliner's Pub - 24-03-2009
We all spent a very good evening in the warm atmosphere of the Dubliner's Pub in Strasbourg centre, accompanied by the traditional large mug of beer.
Let's find a place, and the quiz can begin! Matt asks the questions in a strong voice, such as « Apart from water, what is the most widely-consumed drink in the world, coffee, tea or coca -cola? ». Personally my favourite questions are the easy ones which provoke a lot of laughter...However there are questions which appear easy at first, but which reveal a last minute « surprise » , for example : «What are the five basic tastes sensed by the human tongue? » Answer: salty, sweet, bitter ,sour and « urmami » Or for number fans: « What year was Barack Obama born? » ..And for animal-lovers: « How many stomachs does a cow have? » or « If cats are feline, what animals are « ovine » ? . A question for those with a sweet tooth : Who said: « Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get » ? And finally the question impossible for a French person to answer: « What are the ingredients of a Black Velvet? »
