Newcomers’ Party - 27-11-2009
On Friday, November 27th, ESC welcomed new members for 2009-2010 at an apéritif at restaurant La Rotonde. There were 21 new members in attendance and 35 all together. This event gives new members and existing members the opportunity to meet each other. It is also a great way to share information about upcoming ESC events. It was an opportunity for me to speak English again, as well as to meet the other new members. I appreciated the diversity of nationalities: English, American, Chinese, Australian, great! It was surprising to be able to meet so many members. The "surprise breads" were good.
