AIA/ESC Halloween Party - 15-10-2009

One could argue that not since operation Overlord have the British and Americans cooperated so effectively on mainland France than at this year’s Halloween Party at General Motors; however the two events aren’t really comparable in any way, so the analogy should stop right there. On the 15th October a team of crack parents swooped into the haunting Rhine-side facility, then cowering from the spectre of a potential takeover by Canadian firm Magnus, to turn a foreboding canteen room into a bewitching Halloween party venue. Games, activities, competitions, food, drink and scary costumes were thrown into the mix - like newts and lizards into a Witches cauldron - to create an enchanting, fun-filled afternoon for parents and children from around Alsace. A big thank you to Lori Prignot and her team for organising such a great event, and we look forward to more of the same next year … here’s hoping the General Motors facility won’t become a ghostly haunted house before then.
