Christmas Quiz - 15-12-2009
Who would have thought that you could construct an entire quiz based on questions relating to Christmas? Well Matt and Martyn did us proud once again with a roller coaster ride through the festive trivia. A colourful collection of members in Santa hats, reindeer antlers and tinsel turned the upstairs room at the Dubliners into a little grotto dedicated to the memory of things surely best forgotten (- but no, Slade didn’t even get a mention – or did I miss it?). As usual, the taking part was much more important than the winning, and my position in the victorious team had much more to do with a happy selection of team mates rather than a significant personal contribution.
